Rumor: Ace May Leave Team Liquid

Markus "Ace" Hølgård may leave Team Liquid 's Dota 2 roster following the end of the season.

The Danish offlaner has represented the organization since 2025, helping Team Liquid secure several tournament victories during his time with the squad. Most recently, the team finished 5th–6th at The International 2026.

Reports of Ace's potential departure were shared by Bauyrzhan "lilskrip" Bisembaev on his Telegram channel. Team Liquid has not commented on the situation, and the possibility of a roster change remains firmly at the rumor stage.

Ace joined Team Liquid in 2025 and went on to win BLAST Slam VI and ESSENCE II with the team. He also helped the organization secure a 5th–6th-place finish at The International 2026.
