No[o]ne Shares How His Perspective on Winning The International Has Changed

Mid laner PARIVISION Vladimir "No[o]ne" Minenko shared how his perspective on winning The International 2026 has evolved over time. Previously, the Aegis of Champions was his main goal, but now he values the opportunity to play in a strong team and continue his professional career more. Nevertheless, No[o]ne emphasized that he still wants to win TI and considers the tournament special. His words were featured in the PARIVISION club vlog.

On the Dream of Winning The International

No[o]ne shared that his desire to become a professional player emerged during his teenage years after Natus Vincere 's victory at the first The International. At that time, he linked his future career with major tournaments, victories, and the chance to succeed in Dota 2.

When I was 15, I saw Navi win "The International," and I told myself that I wanted to be a professional esports player, compete in major tournaments, win them, and earn big money while being a successful player. Every player like that has a dream—to win "The International."

According to No[o]ne, the ever-growing prize pool used to add extra significance to the tournament. However, even after changes to the financial model, The International has retained its special status for him.

It used to be super hype, starting at $1.6 million and growing to $40 million. Now, "The International" has its own magic, 100%. You will forever mark your place in history by doing it. For me, the Aegis was a dream, now it has changed. Of course, I really want to win it, but my life priorities, goals, and dreams have shifted.

On Current Priorities

Now, No[o]ne views winning TI more as a result of the team's overall success rather than the sole aim of his professional career. For him, it's more important to continue playing at a high level, be part of a strong team, and enjoy the process itself.

For me, "The International" is more of a consequence, because now the game is more than just "The International." Playing Dota, being with a great team, having a good time, and living life like that is cooler than just winning "The International." But "The International" is cool too.
