15 TI Champions Continue Quest for Another Aegis at The International 2026

After the conclusion of the group stage and tiebreakers at The International 2026, 15 players remain in the running for the Aegis, who have previously won TI. Five of them have the chance to become three-time champions, while ten others can claim their second title. Among the eight playoff participants, only PARIVISION and BetBoom Team do not have reigning The International champions in their rosters. Thus, six out of the eight remaining teams can bring at least one player a repeat title.

Five players could become three-time TI champions

With the elimination of Miroslaw "Mira" Kolpakov and Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen, five two-time The International champions remain in the tournament. Each of them continues to fight for a third Aegis:

33 — champion of TI11 and TI13;
skiter — champion of TI11 and TI14;
Sneyking — champion of TI11 and TI14;
Yatoro — champion of TI10 and TI12;
Collapse — champion of TI10 and TI12.

Mira, who won TI10 and TI12, has already exited the tournament, as has the two-time champion of TI8 and TI9, Topson.

Ten more players are vying for a second Aegis

Among the remaining participants, there are also ten players who have previously won The International once:

Malr1ne — TI14;
ATF — TI14;
Cr1t- — TI14;
miCKe — TI13;
Nisha — TI13;
Boxi — TI13;
Saksa — TI11;
Larl — TI12;
SumaiL — TI5;
GH — TI7.

Bach and Y? , who won TI6, were also featured in the original graphic, but their team has already concluded their tournament run.

Only PARIVISION and BetBoom Team can crown a new TI champion without a repeat winner

Eight teams have advanced to the playoffs of The International 2026. Six of them have at least one player who has previously lifted the Aegis of Champions. The exceptions are PARIVISION and BetBoom Team.

Therefore, the mentioned 75% is not the mathematical probability of a specific team winning, but rather the proportion of playoff participants: six out of eight teams have at least one TI champion. If any of these six teams win the tournament, at least one player will become a two-time or three-time champion. If PARIVISION or BetBoom Team wins, the entire champion roster will claim the Aegis for the first time.
