All Results from The International 2025 Closed Qualifiers
The closed qualifiers for The International 2025 kicked off on June 4 in South America and Eastern Europe. In other regions, the qualifiers will start later. Teams are competing for eight spots in the main tournament of the year. Below are the current qualification results by region.
South America
In the upper bracket, Heroic defeated Team Sin Compromiso with a score of 2:1, while Edge overcame OG .LATAM — 2:1. These teams will meet in the upper bracket final to determine the first participant in the grand final of the qualifiers. In the lower bracket, Infamous eliminated Team Den , and AllStars advanced past Sustancia X . In the next round, AllStars will play against Team Sin, and OG .LATAM will face Infamous .
Eastern Europe
In the upper bracket, Aurora Gaming confidently defeated One Move with a score of 2:0, and Natus Vincere overcame L1ga Team — 2:1. These teams will meet in the upper bracket final to determine the first participant in the grand final of the qualifiers. In the lower bracket, Nemiga Gaming and Cyber Goose eliminated Quantum and Runa Team respectively. In the next round, Nemiga will face L1ga Team , and Cyber Goose will meet One Move .
Southeast Asia
The qualification will begin on June 13 with first-round matches between InterActive Philippines and Kopite , as well as Team Nemeton and Tech Free Gaming . The winners of these matches will advance to the quarterfinals, where they will face Trailer PB , Ivory , Talon Esports , Castawake , Execration , and BOOM Esports .
Western Europe
The qualification will start on June 13 with four first-round matches in the upper bracket. The tournament will open with NAVI Junior and Yellow Submarine — the winner of this pair will face Nigma Galaxy in the next stage. Then, Virtus.Pro will play against 4Pirates , and their winner will continue against AVULUS. In the evening, two quarterfinals will also take place: MOUZ will face 1win Team , and OG will take on Team Secret .
North America
The qualification will start on June 9 with a match between 4 Anchors + Dota Sama and TT Team in the first upper bracket quarterfinal. Later that day, Shopify Rebellion will play against CDUB Esports . The next day, Wildcard will face Team Slayers and Yoru Ryodan will take on BSJ and friends. The winners will continue in the upper bracket semifinals.
China
The qualification will begin on June 9 with upper bracket quarterfinal matches. In the first round, Tearlaments will face Excel Esports , Yakult's Brothers will meet Team Curtain , Xtreme Gaming will play against Vici Gaming , and Azure Ray will take on Future Gaming. The winners will advance to the semifinals.
The closed qualifiers for The International 2025 are being held in June across all six regions and will serve as the final stage of selection for the main tournament of the year. Each region features invited teams and those that advanced through open stages. At the end of the qualifiers, eight slots will be allocated: two for Western Europe and Southeast Asia, and one each for Eastern Europe, China , North America, and South America.
