Team Liquid lost their coach for several tournaments: what happened

Team Liquid head coach William “Blitz” Lee shared that he will be unable to attend several of the team’s tournaments due to visa complications, meaning they will be without their head coach at those events.

The coach shared this information on his X (Twitter) page.

“Because of my Schengen visa, I have to skip a couple of European tournaments. But I have the best team and Jabbz is the best coach in the world, so these events should be a walk in the park. Appreciate the team for going 3-0 in groups. Hopefully we can at the LAN that I have to miss. Although, I’m crossing my fingers that I’m not here for it”

Blitz explained that the reason for his absence stemmed specifically from issues with obtaining a Schengen visa. However, he was confident that fands could rest easy as Mathis “ Jabbz ” Friesel will be taking over the reins.

The coach did not elaborate on the specifics of these unexpected matters but did thank his team for their confidence boosting performances, confident that the team can manage without him being fully present effectively.

Earlier rumors claimed that two Team Liquid players would possibly depart the organization and retire from competing.
