iNsania : "This time we will choose the strongest heroes and make them work"

Captain Team Liquid Aydin " iNsania " Sarkohi gave an interview to tournament operator PGL. In the conversation, the Swedish player shared his thoughts on the team's condition, changes in drafting, a new approach to preparation, and his impressions of the latest Dota 2 patch. The captain of Team Liquid expressed his opinion on how things are going within the team.

I think this is the lowest level we've felt since Matu and Z first joined the team. In terms of our results and how we feel we're playing, it's probably the worst since we played 3 years ago, something like that. In many ways, it's the result of us not being able to figure ourselves out. I think that earlier, when we put in the effort, we managed to steer the ship in the right direction, but this year we couldn't do it. Honestly, I think internally we're a bit lost.

The Swedish player shared information about the processes happening within the team.

Actually, we're going to make Nisha the drafter for this event. This will be the first time in history. Mi is taking a small break, and Nisha and Job’s will handle it. It was quite interesting during preparation. Nisha has a completely different approach and cares a bit less about what others think. He said something very funny: "I'll just pick the best heroes, and you guys should know how to play them." It was inspiring because sometimes we tend to pick heroes that might not be the best in the meta, so this time we'll pick the strongest heroes and make them work.

iNsania commented on the changes in the new patch.

Probably, what I like the most is how fast you move along the rivers. Moving quickly in general is the most fun thing in the world. Running very fast along the rivers, especially if someone is trying to catch you but can't hit you because you're so fast - it's fun. I feel like this ability is not yet fully utilized, but I'm looking forward to the time when, say, you're Tidehunter, and you're going to wipe out five people, but they're in a speed river, running away faster than Ravage emerges. It will be exciting when that happens.

The support of Team Liquid commented on the changes to Tormentor.

The game forces you to compete earlier, so when you're playing, it feels like the game starts, and you have to go for the Tormentor almost immediately. I feel like I'm still lounging when the Tormentor appears, and it's a bit early. It feels like the game forces you to play by a certain timing too quickly. So, I would say that's my only main downside at the moment.

After two rounds of the group stage, Team Liquid is going with a 2:0 record. In the next match, the team will play against Tundra Esports , and this matchup could guarantee them a spot in the playoffs of PGL Wallachia Season 3.
