Miposhka hinted that Team Spirit ’s victory was stolen: the captain reacted to the organizers’ decision
Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov, the captain for Team Spirit , claims that the rescheduling of the final game of the tournament versus Tundra Esports meant that his team was practically robbed off their victory at DreamLeague Season 25.
The esport player shared his thoughts regarding the postponement of Game 4 through his Telegram channel.
“This is, of course, ***) I think everyone understood where Game 4 was going, but now we will have to showcase our skills once again”
Miposhka underscored that he and everyone else understood who was winning the game, but the DDOS attack on Denis “Larl” Sigitov and Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov put the squad in a very unfortunate situation. The two time Dota 2 World Champion highlighted that Team Spirit was winning against Tundra Esports 2-1. In essence, if Game 4 was won, they would have taken the DreamLeague Season 25 title.
For the time being, the esports organizers resolved to postpone the final game, originally set for March 4, 2023. This rescheduling means Miposhka’s team will now need to replay the game.
In the past there has been an attempt by hackers to force Team Spirit to lose the DreamLeague Season 25 Grand Finals.
