Roman “ RAMZES666 ” Kushnarev believes that in the current Dota 2 meta the third position is dominated by players who used to play on the carry, but changed their role in the team.

The pro player shared his respective opinion on twitch .

“Any carry player who has moved to hard now..... Just mark my words. Any carry player who is playing now and has moved to hard will be many times better than 99% of harders who started on hard.”

The player attributes his opinion to the fact that farming has a strong impact on success in the third position right now, and if a player doesn't know how to farm effectively on the offlane, he will be ineffective in the current meta. According to Roman “ RAMZES666 ” Kushnarev, the approach to playing in the third position in Dota 2 right now is very similar to carry.

“Because the base is on hard - you need to farm now, like on any heroes you farm. If you don't know how to farm on the third, you're a bot. That's it. Dota's been like that for a long time now, the carry role is already like an offlane, or an offlane as a carry. It's all so much the same.”
