Valve gave Dota 2 players an unexpected gift after the conclusion of Crownfall

Instead of ending Crownfall altogether, Valve elected to move it to the Archive, allowing users to convert leftover candies to skins at any point. They also made all event mini-games public and increased the difficulty in the Creeping Nest mini-game.

They said the following on Steam:

“We’re happy to announce the launch of the Crownfall Archive which is a sequel of sorts where we have now bundled together all of the mini-games and comics of all four acts, accessible from the main menu, for free, to all, irrespective of what you managed to unlock during the event. (And roughly speaking, we have recorded your boots to each act’s map in order to remember your steps on the track.) Also, if you have some candies, coins or other Crownfall goodies, you can buy stuff from the archive”

Developers stated that tokens, coins, leftover candies, and other attendance prizes can still all be used. Now, even players who didn’t manage to unlock certain mini-games during the event will be able to access them. Moreover, many still enjoy it and have asked for it to be made into its own game, which is why the option to further increase the new lower level of the last mini-game has been added.

Here, Valve has followed through with another feature that has been in the requests of Dota 2 players for some time now.
