The captain of Team Spirit revealed the real reason for the defeat against PARIVISION
The Team Spirit captain, Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov has revealed that the primary reason why his team lost to PARIVISION during the FISSURE Playground deciding match was because they lost the Roshan fights on both maps.
The two-time Dota 2 world champion made a statement regarding this in Team Spirit official Telegram channel
“Hey guys, our game day is over. We sadly lost against PARIVISION and therefore the tournament was over in one round 0-2. What can I say… At least the battles were won more or less, but they were finished off at the same time. We lost both Roshan fights. We executed them poorly and with no clear details”
Miposhka explained that while they were competitive with PARIVISION , the Roshan fights lost the game for them where Team Spirit failed to perform to a reasonable level, revealing a lack of strategy. Moreover, it was again that he pointed out drafting issues describing the Magnus pick as a problem.
“In the first game, fights were not that easy to set up as we had Magnus and they had Enigma. Magnus was trying to jump in, but he was not able to do it safety. Eventually, as we lost, we weren't able to do figure it out what needed to be done”
In the case where Miposhka and the boys had high chances of victory, I have to note that they made one more mistake while attempting to Roshan and prolonged the game instead of taking the blatant Miposhka pleasure to thank the fans for their support and announced that Team Spirit will be more active for the next tournament.
“The second map, we had a chance, but did not manage to take advantage of the moment with strong abilities BKB, and so forth. We were too slow and then got killed. That's it. We will take a rest period and work for the future tournaments, Thank you all. This support from you means so much. On our part, we’ll work hard to make you proud”
Earlier, Alan "Satanic" Gallyamov surprised the community with his statement after PARIVISION victory over his former team.
