Collapse is asking Valve to remove two heroes and change the Dota 2 map in patch 7.38
Magomed "Collapse" Khalilov, your average offlaner for Team Spirit , hopes Valve will be getting rid of Pangolier and sNiper since both heroes have dominated the meta for over four years. He is also looking forward to a map update.
The two-time Dota 2 world champion shares his opinion in a new video that has been uploaded on the club’s Telegram channel.
“I want this patch to finally change the map. Some heroes need to disappear from the meta because they’ve been picked for four years straight—hello, Pangolier—or for an entire year, like sNiper . That dumb little gnome, who even needs him here? What else? I just need map changes and hero adjustments, that's all. They can add or remove some items, I don’t really care. Just don’t remove BKB”
Collapse pointed out that both heroes have been in the meta for so long, something clearly needs to change to break the stagnation. He wouldn’t mention changes that Valve should implement on certain heroes but he stressed there is a necessity for map changes. There haven’t been major changes in the game map in a long time.
The champion admtted that developers could also focus on adding or removing items but indeed, he believes the main them should be updating the map and adjusting heroes.
Dota 2 patch 7.38 may have a new release date that was previously shared by developers.
