The captain of Gaimin Gladiators explained the consequences of the long absence of a new patch for Dota 2

Melchior " Seleri " Hillenkamp, the captain of Gaimin Gladiators , stated that Dota 2 fans are getting bored because of not receiving any new patches for a long time and the same heroes are being used repeatedly by the new players during their gaming session.

He found it appropriate to voice these sentiments on his X (Twitter) account.

“I would really enjoy more transparancy on when an ETA is for a new patch. also fine if there are no more patches, the not knowing is a bit frustrating sometimes.

Maybe I live in a dota bubble, but I'm kinda done playing with/vs lich and alch every game for example..."

Seleri further states that within the thin span of a year, patch 7.37e was assimilated in the game, and since the assimilation two heroes, Lich and Alchemist have emerged as the definitive leaders to unlock matchmaking.

Furthermore, Seleri has expressed hope over Valve patch release announcement and claimed if any patch is due for release, it would soothe the current frustration of the players.

For those of you who are unaware, there have been rumors regarding Valve preparing to indelibly change the matchmaking process. Furthermore, there was also a supposed update for Dota 2 that was uncovered recently which adds more fuel to the fire.
