gpk honestly admitted the reason he competes in the Dota 2 pro scene

Danil “ gpk ” Skutin, the ex midlane player of BetBoom Team , has revealed that his commitment towards competitive Dota 2 is genuine but only in as much as it pays him to play on the pro level.

He says this to Cybersport.ru during an interview with them.

“All I want is to collect trophies. The one main thing I am interested in doing when playing Dota 2 is making money. If I am part of a team, then I will put in all the effort and do everything I can to contribute. And it's not like simply because I play for the monetary compensation there are other areas that I do not care about. Of course, I will always work at my maximum potential and I like the competitive part of it as well”

gpk claims that while the motivation to become an esports player was money, this does not make him careless about other things like the team’s achievements. He likes to win tournaments and to compete but admits that the financial want is more appealing to him.
