Y0nd revealed the actual salary sizes in Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 Dota 2 rosters
Gleb "y0nd" Vazhnov revealed that players in tier-1 teams earn around $10,000, while in tier-2 teams, the amount is lower—up to $3,000.
The streamer shared this during a twitch broadcast.
"A tier-1 player won't have a salary of $3,000. It's closer to $10,000, maybe even more. It all depends on the conditions of advertising contracts and sponsorship deals. For example, if you have a sponsor willing to pay you for integrations on YouTube, that’s paid separately"
He noted that in top teams, salaries can be even higher, and players earn additional income from other activities. According to him, the amount can be substantial if the team has a sponsor covering advertising integrations. He also discussed the earnings of players in up-and-coming teams in the Dota 2 pro scene.
"In tier-3 teams, you might be lucky to earn a thousand bucks in the current realities—around a thousand dollars. In tier-2 teams, the salary ranges from $1,500 to $3,000. It all depends on the team and the sponsors"
He stated that players in tier-3 teams currently receive about a thousand dollars a month, while tier-2 teams can see salaries reaching up to $3,000.
Remember, earlier, Ammar "ATF" Al-Assaf directly referred to Alan "Satanic" Gallyamov as a cheap replacement for Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk.
