iNsania shared how the Dota 2 pro scene meta will change due to Yatoro 's departure
Aydin ‘ iNsania ’ Sarkoi concedes that with the activation of Ilya ‘ Yatoro ’ Mulyarchuk’s departure to Team Spirit sitting on the bench, the professional Dota 2 scene will be more oversaturated with the active carry players turning the meta into more of a dull repetitive style ending the glory days of hard carry players.
The captain of Team Liquid had also expressed a related view in the YouTube channel Cap Casts.
“Some then had fans that followed Yatoro and wished to be one of his imitators. Now, no offense, Skiter , dyrachyo and miCKe are the only ones left – and that’s probably because they are the active kerrys. So if Yatoro is a no show because there are no players moving the hard kerry meta in the pro SCENE, Dota will make it more boring. That kind of meta could die. Kind of sad.”
The professional player also noted that he misses the previous base of Team Spirit because of its history and that he considers it to be one of those teams that could adopt the ancient ways of playing Dota 2 to fit modern realities which is why he does not want the professional scene to be deficit in such astonishing roster.
“We can't help but feel disappointed. In all other cases, Team Spirit was irreplaceable and only Xtreme Gaming could compare. Many would label Team Spirit as an old school 4+1 Dota team, with a few modern touches. It is too bad that such a top level team with 4+1 style of play where it worked will be lost.”
Recall that earlier the professional player Aydin “ iNsania ” Sarkoi had looked into the future and speculated that he would be finishing with esports as a player.
