Watson hinted at the suspension of his career as a Dota 2 pro player
Alimzhan “Watson” Islambekov wrote a controversial comment hinting at a possible suspension of the pro player's Dota 2 career, following the announcement of Cloud9's updated roster.
The pro-player wrote the corresponding post in his personal Telegram channel.
“Yes to factory jobs, no to Esports.”
However, it is unknown at this point whether it was just a joke, or whether the cyber athlete is actually planning to take a career break. It's worth noting that many pro players are now taking a break from playing Dota 2 due to stale meta. Earlier there were rumors that Alimzhan “Watson” Islambekov may join the renewed lineup of Gaimin Gladiators .
Recall that Cloud9 have already registered an updated roster at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024, with only two players from the previous roster remaining.
