Pure named the optimal rank for a pro player in Dota 2

Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko believes that ranking in matchmaking does not matter much in professional Dota 2. The main thing is to enter the first hundred ladder. Also, the pro player adds that he has no goal to make excessive efforts to gain MMR.

The corresponding statement was made by the captain of  Tundra Esports  in a private  twitch  broadcast, answering a viewer's question about when Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko will have the first rank.

“Pure, when is rank 1? Maybe it will be someday, maybe it won't. Who cares about matchmaking dote. Like rank 20 is there, rank 50 is there, it's fine. Why do you need more? Like I don't sit around, I don't trayharge.

Obviously you should be rank red. A centurion you should be, well beyond centurions, who cares.”

Also, a viewer stated that Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko's ranking of 13,271 MMR points at the moment is shameful for a pro player, to which the   Tundra Esports  captain replied that players in the Asian region easily gain up to 15k MMR, but it makes no sense.

“13k mmr in 2024, shame? Well guys, who cares about mmr if chelos in Asia are aping 15k, as they say? Maybe 20 thousand ap me, then, like, the system will revorknuvannya a bit.”

Earlier Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko supposed that not all  Tundra Esports  players will be able to go to The International 2024.
