Valve nerfed the Topson build that could eliminate even top-tier heroes in seconds

In the Dota 2 patch 7.37b, Valve nerfed Topias " Topson " Taavitsainen’s build, midlaner for  Tundra Esports , that allowed Venomancer to kill enemies in seconds.

The changes to the hero are available on Dota 2 website.

Skeptic Shock which had its damage increased by debuffs has been nerfed. Damage before gameplay could reach absurd numbers of up to 14k in a few seconds. However, Topson ’s Venomancer build was significantly weakened when it was changed so that each item with a debuff only counted once.

This has also resulted in significant reduction of this character’s win rate in Dota 2 matchmaking as it fell by more than six percent bringing  Venomancer among the worst heroes after the release of patch 7.37b.

Before this, Valve nerfed two top-tier heroes in Dota 2 who were regarded as the best in the last patch.
