Watson named the reason for moving to the carry position in Dota 2

Watson spoke about choosing the first position in Dota 2.

Alimzhan "watson" Islambekov stated that until 2017, he mainly played on the mid and fourth position of the sapporter, but then decided to switch to carry because of the difficulties in the game.

The Cloud9 carry shared the relevant opinion with the viewers of his personal twitch broadcast.

"I kind of switched to carry in 2017, I used to play mid and foursquad before. Mostly in mid. But then I upgraded and it became hard to play mid, so I went to carry just to beat creeps."

After the Riyadh Masters 2024, Cloud9 signed the entire Entity roster, announcing their return to Dota 2. At the tournament, the team had one of the best results in the group stage, winning five of the seven series played, as well as finishing one match in a draw. Nevertheless, the team left the tournament with 9 - 12 place, without a single victory in the playoffs.
