Nix revealed who Team Spirit have to thank for the success of their Dota 2 roster

Alexander ‘ Nix ’ Levin believes that  Team Spirit  analyst Mark ‘sikle’ Lerman has a unique type of thinking, being one of the best specialists in Dota 2.

The content maker shared his respective opinion during a private  twitch  broadcast.

‘Sikle is an unreal genius. This is one proof of how good Team Spirit is at management. They don't just have an analyst, they have a straight up god of analytics. Everything he writes is *** in general. The man has a mindset like he was born to be an analyst. I don't think any teams even come close to having someone of that calibre in analytics. So they also have a coach. They have an incredible structure.

A draft pick and a captain is a huge energy expenditure and a huge time commitment. You're watching demos, you're analysing. So you have to spend several hours a day to draft well.

In my mind, it's the most effective team building where the coach takes over the draft duties. Where the coach and analyst are just in charge of strategy and tactics. They give you some kind of squeeze if you've been that before, and so on. It's self efficient.’

  Team Spirit  finished second in Group A without losing a match. The team played most of the series to a draw, and in the first meeting at all managed to beat the group favourites,  Team Falcons . However, the playoffs started with a setback for the team. In the first match of the top net the team lost to  Team Liquid , and then went to play for the exit against  LGD Gaming .
