Team Spirit made a statement about winning the Riyadh Masters 2024

Miroslav "Mira" Kolpakov has stated that winning the Riyadh Masters 2024 is important for  Team Spirit  as there is a large amount of prize money at stake, but the team is under no pressure to reaffirm last year's title by becoming two-time champions.

The squad's mainstay shared his opinion in a post-match interview on the official  twitch  broadcast of the tournament.

"No. Naturally, it's still very important for us to win a second tournament in a row because it's a whole lot of money. But we don't feel the pressure. When we sit down at the computer and get into Dota, we think about heroes, not about teams to beat or anything else. We're just thinking about how to beat the heroes. Trying to solve this problem like it's from a maths book."

After five matches played in the main group stage,  Team Spirit  managed to pull out one win and four matches ended in a draw. It's worth noting that the team's win came against the main opponent in the group,  Team Falcons . The team is now left to play  Blacklist International  and  Aurora. Being one of the main favourites of the group, the team has a very high chance to get into the top net of the playoffs.

Earlier Ilya "Illidan" Pivtsaev criticised the organisers of Riyadh Masters 2024 for broadcasting the tournament with a delay.
