Yatoro finally explained why he decided to change his nickname in Dota 2
Ilya " Yatoro " Mulyarchuk, the carry for Team Spirit , explained that he wanted some variety and changed his nickname temporarily.
The two-time world champion shared this on his Telegram channel.
"Hello everyone, as you know, I changed my nickname. Just to clarify, I won't be using this nickname permanently. When I get bored, I'll switch back to Yatoro . The reason for the change is simple—I wanted some variety"
According to him, he will eventually change his nickname back from Raddan to Yatoro when he gets bored. It is possible that this might happen after The International 2024. Yatoro 's words confirm the statement made by Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov, who also mentioned that the player had planned to change his nickname earlier this year, but there was no technical possibility for it.
However, the manager of Team Spirit stated that Valve reactivated the non-functional registration service after receiving a letter from the club, and Yatoro was finally able to change his nickname in Dota 2.
