The Polish legendary veteran has made a profound impression during his tenure coaching at FaZe. Riding on recent stellar performances, FaZe Clan has decided to officially sign NEO as the team's head coach.
In July of this year, former coach RobbaN suddenly announced his departure, and NEO stepped up to lead the team. This marked the 36-year-old veteran's first coaching experience, having had a glorious professional career with numerous championship titles, including the 2014 EMS One Katowice Major, earning him the reputation as one of the finest players in CS history.
NEO's coaching career had a rough start, with FaZe failing to advance to the playoffs in both IEM Cologne and EPL S18, ranking 9-12th. Furthermore, Gamers 8 was eliminated in the round of 16. However, following the introduction of a new version of CS, FaZe's performance improved significantly, winning consecutively at IEM Sydney, TP World Championships, and CAC 2023.
With an impressive 15-game winning streak, FaZe will head to Copenhagen next week to participate in the BLAST Premier Fall Finals. They will then continue their quest in Abu Dhabi for the BLAST Premier World Finals. This galactic team might add two more championship trophies to their collection by the year-end.
Despite this remarkable success, FaZe might be facing some changes soon. According to reports, Twistzz is likely to depart from the team and return to Liquid as FaZe's three-year period with him approaches its end.
