Spinx benched in Vitality

Lotan "Spinx" Giladi has concluded his tenure of over two years with Team Vitality . The organization announced his transition to a bench player after 878 days in the main roster.

This change is rumored to be linked with a potential arrival of Robin "ropz" Kul. Spinx leaves the team with seven major trophies, including a victory at the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023.

Arrival of Spinx
Spinx joined Vitality in mid-2022 and started delivering results from the very first tournaments, winning the ESL Pro League Season 16. Following a dip in late 2022, he returned to excellent form in 2023, becoming a key player in the victory at the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 and several other tournaments.

Results in 2024
In 2024 , the team's results worsened, and in the summer, Spinx requested to explore options for transferring to another team. Despite this, Vitality won the IEM Cologne 2024 , but past stability could not be regained.

Spinx's Stats
Spinx's rating at the last Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 was 6.4, which is quite good. Overall, he had an excellent year, yet the team decided to replace him instead of mezii. Spinx's rating for 2024 was 6.4, while mezii's was 5.9.

Even when considering ropz's stats for 2024 , Spinx outperformed the Estonian in three metrics. Therefore, his move to the bench seems questionable.
