Last night in the semifinals of the BLAST Premier Autumn Finals, G2 and Vitality had a very intense match. On Mirage, both sides went into overtime, and G2 narrowly won with a score of 16-14.

The most dramatic moment of the match was NiKo's near 1v5 clutch. After being killed by apEX , an emotional NiKo slammed the table, leaving it heavily damaged. In the post-match interview, NiKo also talked about his reaction at the time, that high-pressure moment, and the upcoming finals.

Q: The ending of the match was very crazy, can you talk about the final moments?

A: Honestly, I can't remember the ending. I'm not sure what the final result was, but for us, it was very important to come back. Once we got into overtime, we felt we had control and some breathing room. Especially for me, because of those clutch situations, I was under a lot of pressure. But we kept fighting and stayed determined.

Q: Can you talk about your almost incredible 1v5 and your reaction at that time?

A: Obviously, I got some nice kills in that round, but I was very frustrated because I knew how important that round was. If I had killed apEX in that round, Vitality's economy would have collapsed. Losing the duel with apEX frustrated me a lot because it was an almost effortless kill (Note: apEX was defusing the bomb and did not expect NiKo's hiding spot on the couch). Yes, maybe my reaction (slamming the table) was over the top, but in some way, it ultimately helped me. Maybe I would always wonder—what if I hadn't slammed the table, who knows? For me, it was like a reset, so I could get back into the game and help the team finish the match.

Q: You were bleeding after that round, so how was the communication within the team during the medical pause?

A: Half of the team didn't even know what happened. Only m0NESY saw it. But everyone supported me and said—it's okay, let's start our comeback now. And then we did it.

Q: Vitality had match point and was just one round away from winning. How did you feel after catching up with Vitality?

A: To be honest, I had no other thoughts. I didn't think about what the result would be, I just focused on the match. We didn't think about (being one round away from losing), we just put our whole heart into the game. Thinking "let the past be the past."

Q: You were almost eliminated several times in the quarterfinals and semifinals. How important is it for you to reach the finals now?

A: As I said yesterday, today's match against Vitality was very important, it showed us our strength and whether we are stronger than these top teams. Obviously, Vitality is in great form, so now Natus Vincere can see that we have the ability to beat Vitality.

Q: Given your record against NAVI, do you want to face NAVI for revenge in tomorrow's final, or would you prefer to meet FaZe? (Interview conducted before the NAVI vs FaZe match)

A: For us, it doesn't matter who the opponent is. But if FaZe wins and we beat them tomorrow, we still wouldn't feel like the best because we didn't beat NAVI. So, beating NAVI would make us feel better, but beating FaZe would obviously feel great too.

In the finals, G2 will face their nemesis NAVI.
