In the recent update, Valve announced the beginning of testing for the VACNET 3.0 anti-cheat program in limited matches. Now, community expert ThourCS has shared the news he received.

He mentioned receiving numerous reports from players stating that more and more matches are being canceled due to the intervention of the VACNET 3.0 anti-cheat program. To some extent, this has prevented a poor player experience.

The comments section shows a polarization, with some CSers stating they haven't felt any difference.

"I played 20 matches this week, and I didn't see a single instance where cheating was banned or a match was canceled."

Other CSers reported that out of the three matches they played yesterday, two were canceled due to detected cheating players.

"I played three matches yesterday, and two of them were canceled early in the game. Is this an improvement?"
