Before the match, most people thought you would stop at the Cologne quarterfinals and predicted the semifinals would be between G2 and Natus Vincere . But you defeated G2 in two maps in the BO3, convincingly advancing to the semifinals. How do you feel?

It feels great to perform well on stage. I want to say that we had already faced G2 at the IEM Chengdu earlier this year, so we knew what to expect. At the same time, MOUZ was fully prepared for this match. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's match against NaVi.

Your performance in the group stage was somewhat lackluster. Coming to the LANXESS Arena and performing so well in front of such a large audience, is that particularly important for you?

I think our performance at the end of the group stage was indeed somewhat average. Therefore, I believe this BO3 match against G2 gave us a lot of confidence to better face tomorrow's match against NaVi. I think NaVi is an excellent team. We need to win this match. Also, it felt great to win on Dust2. We proved that our previous loss to Vitality might have just been a bad day.

On Dust2, you had 22 opening duel opportunities, losing 14 of them. However, it seemed that tactically you dominated G2 on Dust2.

I didn't know about that, but honestly, losing so many opening duels doesn't sound good, but I think siuhy's calls were great. siuhy 's calls were superior against G2. He made excellent mid-round calls to clear A and reset B, and they worked very well. Our performance was also perfect; it was really awesome.

Talk about your choice of Mirage? Did you choose it because you saw G2's poor performance on Mirage against Astralis ? What was your specific thought process?

No, Mirage is one of our best maps. We've won around 10 matches on it, and our win rate is very high. We simply prefer Mirage. It was our own choice, not to exploit G2's weaknesses or anything like that.

Throughout the BO3, siuhy was always smiling. It seemed like he was having a lot of fun and made some great decisions.

Yes, we had a lot of fun. I think when you're on stage, you shouldn't be nervous or focus on the audience. You have to enjoy the moment of competing on stage. Especially in Cologne, the opportunity to play on the LANXESS Arena stage doesn't come often.

I saw you hugging some people after the match. Were they your family?

Yes, they were my family and my girlfriend. I'm very happy they could see me play in person.

Now you have to face NaVi. Do you want to avenge your loss to them at the Esports World Cup?

As I said before, I think they are a very good team, and we really want to beat them. They also have a Hungarian analyst, so I've always enjoyed playing against them. It will be an exciting match. NaVi is one of the most consistent teams right now. They play great CS.

You have advanced to the semifinals. Considering your performance in front of the audience, how far do you think you can go?

All the way to the trophy at the end of the stage.

Mouz will face Natus Vincere in the semifinals on August 18th at dawn.
