Aleksib Breaks the Curse of Being Swept in Consecutive Five BO5 Finals

Although falling short of the BLAST Premier Spring Finals championship, Natus Vincere team leader Aleksi Virolainen | Aleksib broke a long-standing curse in this final—being swept in the past five BO5 finals, with a total record of 0-15.

Expanding the time frame, in the 8 BO5 finals that Aleksib participated in throughout his professional career, only the first two events defeated opponents and won the championship. They were defeating SJ (3-1) at Vectorama LAN 2018, and defeating Vega Squadron (3-2) at StarSeries i-League S6.
