CPH Wolves officially announces the new roster's return to CS
CPH Wolves returns to the CS scene with an all-new European lineup. The most prominent player in the lineup is szejn from Poland, joining the Danish trio of Basso, mupzG, and IGL vigg0, with Swedish rifler Svedjehed rounding out the team.
From 2010 to 2016, CPH Wolves was one of the most renowned organizations in Danish CS, featuring star players like dupreeh, device, karrigan, among others.
According to Dust2.us, CPH Wolves is now under the ownership of a 23-year-old American entrepreneur named Outback, who is the sole driving force behind this project.
Their new roster deviates somewhat from the Danish tradition as the most prominent member is Polish player szejn. The 21-year-old made a name for himself in MOUZ NXT, winning two seasons of the WePlay Academy League but didn't break into the main lineup. He then returned to the Polish scene with Illuminar and recently joined two mixed rosters, Wu-Tang and Project G.
Basso, vigg0, and mupzG form the core of the Danish squad. vigg0 previously played for Sashi and Astralis Talent, while Basso gained recognition through his stints with Copenhagen Flames.
mupzG is well-known for his time with Victory Zigzag, earning qualification for BLAST Fall Showdown with the team. However, the team lost its spot due to allegations against player joel and a cheating-related ban on coach Hardwell by a third-party platform. He has represented several Danish teams, with his earliest HLTV appearances dating back to 2013.
Svedjehed completes the starting five, recognized for his performances with EYEBALLERS. After representing the Swedish team for six months and an eight-month inactive period, he joined AGO but was released by the organization by the year-end.
