Jamppi: If I had known I would be unbanned in two months, I wouldn't have switched to VALORANT

Former CSGO player Elias Olkkonen, known as Jamppi, recently participated in an interview with Thorin, expressing that had he known he would be unbanned by Valve two months later, he wouldn't have swiftly decided to transition to VALORANT.

Jamppi mentioned in the interview, "In reality, if I knew I would be unbanned by Valve in two months and ENCE had also decided to keep me, I wouldn't have made the move to VALORANT. I'm not saying this because I regret the decision; I'm happy in VALORANT too. It's just that sometimes, destiny is an interesting thing."

Considered Finland's promising future talent, former ENCE player Jamppi faced a ban by Valve due to a VAC record on his Steam account. After multiple unsuccessful appeals, he transitioned to VALORANT in February 2021, only for Valve to officially lift the ban on his account in April of the same year.
