FURIA Esports , Mouz , The MongolZ and PARIVISION secure Beijing playoffs as FaZe and G2 exit

Four teams secured playoff places on the second day of IEM Beijing 2026, while FaZe, G2, Legacy and 9z were eliminated in joint-last place.

FURIA Esports , Mouz , The MongolZ and PARIVISION advanced through their upper-bracket semifinals. Their victories guaranteed quarterfinal appearances and set up two seeding matches offering direct passage to the semifinals.

Group A: FURIA Esports survive NAVI thriller

FURIA Esports recovered from losing Ancient in overTIME to defeat Natus Vincere 2–1, taking Nuke 16–12 and Cache 13–10 after a 12–16 opening-map defeat.

NAVI had led Nuke 9–3 at halftime, but could not close the series. FURIA Esports forced overTIME and swept the additional ROUNDS , with KSCERATO producing eight kills during that decisive four-round stretch . On Cache, molodoy ’s 1v3 clutch helped halt NAVI’s resistance and carry FURIA Esports into the playoffs.

The MongolZ joined them after defeating Heroic 2–0. A 13–7 Inferno Victory was followed by a much tighter 19–17 result on Nuke. The sweep therefore concealed a demanding second map, with Heroic pushing the series into double overTIME before the Mongolian side finished the job.

In the elimination matches, Falcons overcame FaZe 2–1, winning Ancient 13–3, losing Anubis 10–13, and taking Mirage 13–7. kyousuke finished with 58 kills, helping Falcons recover from their opening loss to NAVI.

B8 eliminated Legacy 2–1, winning Dust2 13–11 and Mirage 13–9 around a 6–13 Cache defeat. Legacy ’s try recorded 57 kills against 29 deaths, but npl ’s 54 kills helped B8 secure the series.

Group B: Mouz and PARIVISION advance unbeaten

PARIVISION swept Liquid 2–0, winning Ancient 13–7 and Inferno 13–9. FL1T led the winning side with 36 kills, as Jame ’s team followed its opening Victory over G2 with another playoff-clinching result.

Mouz also advanced without dropping a map, beating BETBOOM 2–0. Their 13–6 Ancient win was followed by a 16–14 overTIME Victory on Mirage, with torzsi finishing the series 38–17.

aurora kept their campaign alive by eliminating G2 2–1: 13–9 on Nuke, 9–13 on Inferno and 16–13 on Dust2. Wicadia supplied 60 kills, including 26 on the decider. G2 consequently suffered a third consecutive group- StAgE exit .

TyLoo completed the day’s survival results with a 2–0 Victory over 9z , winning Inferno 13–5 and Cache 16–13.

The four eliminated teams finished 13th–16th, while the lower-bracket survivors remained two series away from the playoffs.
