FUT and BetBoom qualify unbeaten as DENDELE eliminate G2 from PGL Masters Bucharest

FUT and BetBoom became the first teams to reach the PGL Masters Bucharest playoffs, completing the Swiss stage with 3–0 records.

The third round also produced the tournament’s first eliminations. DENDELE defeated G2 in three maps, while TYLOO survived without Jee by overcoming 9z with head coach zhokiNg standing in.

FUT 2–1 Vitality

FUT secured qualification with a comeback victory: 9–13 on Mirage, 13–9 on Dust2 and 13–10 on Anubis.

SunPayus delivered a 49–34 kill-death record and 1.33 rating against Vitality, while xfl0ud contributed 57 kills and 91.1 ADR.

Vitality won the opener and appeared well placed on the decider after establishing an 8–4 CT lead. FUT overturned that advantage with a strong defense, including two four-kill B-site holds from xfl0ud.

The result completed an unbeaten Swiss campaign in FUT’s first event with SunPayus. Vitality dropped to 2–1 despite ZywOo recording 63 kills and a 1.38 rating.

BetBoom 2–0 NAVI

BetBoom joined FUT in the playoffs after winning 13–10 on Dust2 and 13–9 on Nuke.

Both maps required recoveries. NAVI led Dust2 6–3 before BetBoom gradually took control, with S1ren winning a 1v3 to secure map point.

NAVI then finished the CT half of Nuke 8–4 ahead, but managed only one attacking round after the switch. BetBoom’s defense closed the series, completing a qualification run containing victories over Spirit, Nemiga and NAVI.

Zorte finished with 36 kills and a 1.25 rating, while S1ren added 35 kills and a 1.24 rating.

DENDELE 2–1 G2

DENDELE eliminated G2 with wins on Nuke, 13–5, and Inferno, 13–5, either side of a 14–16 overtime defeat on Ancient.

G2 recovered from 6–12 on Ancient to force a deciding map, but could not sustain the comeback on Inferno.

Doc led DENDELE with 59 kills, 96.7 ADR and a 1.57 rating. G2 exited at 0–3, having also lost to NAVI and Aurora.

TYLOO 2–1 9z

With Jee ruled out by chickenpox, TYLOO fielded zhokiNg and recovered from an 11–13 Inferno defeat to win 13–5 on Nuke and 13–7 on Mirage.

Their Mirage recovery was especially striking: after falling 1–6 behind, TYLOO won eleven consecutive rounds to reach series point.

Moseyuh finished with a 1.42 rating, while Zero contributed 54 kills. TYLOO advanced to 1–2, and 9z were eliminated without a series victory.

Other third-round results

• Spirit 2–1 FURIA: Nuke 13–7, Ancient 8–13, Mirage 13–11. Donk posted a 1.46 rating, with Spirit winning the final four rounds after trailing 9–11 on Mirage.

• Liquid 2–0 Legacy: Ancient 13–10, Inferno 13–8.

• MOUZ 2–0 The MongolZ: Nuke 13–11, Mirage 13–9.

• Aurora 2–0 Nemiga: Mirage 16–14, Anubis 13–4.

Spirit, Liquid, MOUZ and Aurora moved to 2–1, joining NAVI and Vitality one victory from qualification.
