Astralis officially sign siuhy and cmtry ahead of Singapore Major

Astralis have confirmed the signings of Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek and Nikita "cmtry" Samolotov, completing their Counter-Strike 2 roster following the benchings of Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen and Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard.

The changes give Astralis a new in-game leader and additional firepower as the organization prepares for the PGL Major Singapore.

siuhy assumes leadership

siuhy joins Astralis after becoming a free agent on October 2 following his departure from Team Liquid .

The Polish in-game leader spent more than a year with Liquid but was unable to reverse the team's inconsistent results.

He now takes charge of Astralis , replacing HooXi after the Danish organization opted to move in a new direction.

cmtry transitions to rifling

cmtry arrives from FUT Esports , where he had been moved to the bench following the signing of Álvaro "SunPayus" García.

The Ukrainian player will move away from his previous AWP responsibilities and transition into a rifling role.

Love "phzy" Smidebrant will remain Astralis ' primary AWPer.

Major preparations accelerate

The double signing follows Astralis ' decision to bench HooXi and jabbi despite the team's recent championship at Stake Ranked Episode 4.

Astralis will now attempt to integrate their new players quickly ahead of the Singapore Major and the remaining tournaments on their schedule.

The reorganized roster is expected to make its debut at Stake Pulse Beat III.
