FaZe win Roman Imperium Cup IX to strengthen Singapore Major qualification hopes

FaZe 2:0 NaVi Junior

FaZe have won Roman Imperium Cup IX after defeating NaVi Junior 2–0 in the grand final, securing an important ranking boost in the race for the PGL Major Singapore.

The victory completed an unbeaten tournament run in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal.

FaZe complete title-winning campaign

FaZe opened the competition with a 2–1 victory over Sangal before sweeping PURE 2–0.

They then defeated NaVi Junior 2–1 in their first meeting on October 10 before winning the grand final rematch 2–0.

The victory secured FaZe's first lan title since IEM Chengdu 2024.

David "frozen" Čerňanský is the only remaining member from that championship-winning roster.

Major prospects improve

The result moved FaZe up 14 places in the global Valve Regional Standings to 16th.

According to HLTV's qualification projections immediately following the final, FaZe held a 71.8% probability of receiving an invitation to the Singapore Major.

The team has two further lan appearances scheduled before the November 2 cutoff.

FaZe will compete at DraculaN Season 7 in Bucharest from October 19–23 and RLG Tesla Cup in Belgrade from October 27–29.

Both tournaments will provide additional opportunities to strengthen their Major qualification position.
