Andrei "arT" Piovezan is set to return to Legacy 's starting lineup at the Thunderpick World Championship 2026 after recovering from meningitis.

The Brazilian in-game leader was hospitalized shortly before ESL Pro League Season 24 and missed the tournament while undergoing treatment.

Legacy confirmed that arT responded well to treatment and had been discharged from hospital.

The organization thanked supporters for their messages and concern during the player's recovery.

Pedro "bobz" Rocha stood in during arT's absence at ESL Pro League, where Legacy were eliminated during the Swiss group stage.

Legacy prepare for next tournament

arT's return comes at an important point in Legacy 's season.

The Brazilian organization had climbed to second in the global Valve Regional Standings following a third-place finish at the Esports World Cup and their title-winning campaign at FISSURE Playground 3.

Legacy will now look to resume competing with their regular in-game leader at the Thunderpick World Championship.
