Heroic bench doto days after second tournament title

Heroic have moved head coach Joonas "doto" Forss to the bench, ending the Finn's short spell in charge of the main roster despite winning two tournaments.

doto took over from TOBIZ in July after previously coaching ENCE Prospects and Heroic Academy.

Heroic change direction despite recent success

Heroic won Stake Ranked Episode 3 and Stake Pulse Beat II under doto and also qualified for IEM Beijing.

The organization nevertheless decided to make another coaching change.

Heroic CEO Joachim Harg praised doto's work and character but said the organization had chosen a different direction for the long-term development of the project.

Heroic sit 17th in the global Valve Regional Standings following their recent run of results.

Their next scheduled competition is Stake Pulse Beat III, which runs from October 12–17.
