Mouz coach Dennis "sycrone" Nielsen believes strong performances are the best way for the team's rebuilt lineup to earn the respect of supporters.

Mouz recovered from an opening loss against NRG at StarLadder StarSeries Fall by defeating Natus Vincere 2:1 in the lower bracket.

The European side dropped Cache after a disastrous T side before recovering on Inferno and Mirage to keep their tournament run alive.

sycrone explained that NAVI's unexpected Cache pick created problems because Mouz had very limited information on how their opponents would approach the map.

He also acknowledged that Mouz struggled to deal with NAVI's setups around makazze and iM during the opening half.

New Mouz structure still developing

The Danish coach also discussed how Mouz continue to adapt following significant changes to the team's structure.

Dorian " xertioN " Berman has taken over in-game leadership, while Adrian " xelex " Vincze and Oldřich " pr " Nový have joined the lineup.

sycrone believes the team still needs time to integrate its younger players and establish the identity of the new roster.

Fan perception has also become a topic around Mouz during the transition, but sycrone said results and the quality of their Counter-Strike will ultimately matter most.

"What [fans] will respect the most is if we play good Counter-Strike," sycrone said.

Mouz remained alive at StarSeries Fall following the victory and advanced deeper into the lower bracket.
