Mouz eliminate NAVI from StarSeries Fall after three-map comeback

Mouz survived elimination at StarLadder StarSeries Fall after recovering from an opening-map defeat to beat Natus Vincere 2:1.

NAVI surprised Mouz with a Cache pick despite having not played the map officially since its return to the competitive pool.

The decision initially paid off.

Mouz built a commanding 9:3 advantage during the opening half, but NAVI completely transformed the map after switching sides.

A triple kill from Drin "makazze" Shaqiri in the second-half pistol started an 11-round run in which Mouz managed only one round, allowing NAVI to steal Cache 13:10.

Mouz respond on Inferno

Mouz recovered immediately on Inferno and raced to a 7:0 lead on the T side.

NAVI managed to stabilize before halftime and continued their comeback after the break, including a 2v3 post-plant and a 1v2 clutch from Valeriy "b1t" Vakhovskiy.

Mouz eventually regained control on defense and closed Inferno 13:10 to force Mirage.

The decider was far less competitive.

Mouz established a 10:2 halftime advantage and prevented NAVI from mounting another comeback, closing Mirage 13:8 to complete the reverse sweep.

Dorian "xertioN" Berman led Mouz with 49 kills and a 1.13 rating, while Ihor "w0nderful" Zhdanov was the highest-rated player in the series despite NAVI's elimination, recording 58 kills and a 1.41 rating.

The defeat eliminated NAVI from StarSeries Fall in last place and increased the pressure on the team in the Valve Regional Standings ahead of the Singapore Major cutoff.
