aurora kept their BLAST Open Porto 2026 campaign alive with a 2:0 victory over DENDELE in Group A's lower bracket.

After suffering an opening-round defeat to G2, aurora responded by taking Cache 13-7 before surviving a much closer Mirage to close the series 16-12 in overtime.

DENDELE selected Cache as the opening map, but aurora quickly took control.

aurora finished the first half with a 7-5 advantage before extending their lead after the side switch, allowing DENDELE only two more rounds on the way to a 13-7 victory.

aurora survive close battle on Mirage

Mirage proved considerably more difficult.

DENDELE held a 7-5 advantage at halftime, but aurora responded with seven rounds on the second half to level the map at 12-12 and force overtime.

Once overtime began, aurora completely took control.

They won all four rounds of the extra period to close Mirage 16-12 and complete the 2:0 sweep.

Jimpphat leads aurora across the series

Jimi "Jimpphat" Salo finished as aurora 's highest-rated player across the two maps.

He recorded 39 kills to 21 deaths, 91.6 ADR, an 83.3% KAST, and a 1.49 rating.

Ali "Wicadia" Haydar Yalçın produced the highest kill total on the team with 46 kills while averaging 105.7 ADR.

Captain Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilkovski also delivered a strong series, finishing with 38 kills to 28 deaths and a 1.42 rating.

For DENDELE, Daniel "rdnzao" Monteiro led the team with a 1.09 rating and 37 kills.

The defeat eliminates DENDELE from BLAST Open Porto 2026, while aurora advance through the Group A lower bracket with their tournament hopes still alive.
