Inner Circle produced one of the biggest upsets of BLAST Open Porto 2026 by defeating Vitality 2:0 in their opening series.

The Ukrainian team took Anubis 13-8 before completing a dramatic overtime comeback on Cache, winning 16-13 to send Vitality into the lower bracket.

Vitality competed with Justinas "jL" Lekavicius standing in for mezii.

Vitality appeared set to force a deciding map on Cache after building a 12-7 lead, but Inner Circle refused to let the series slip away.

They fought back to force overtime before winning four consecutive rounds to close the map 16-13.

The team had recently won Super DraculaN and entered BLAST Open Porto with growing confidence, but beating Vitality represented a major step up in competition.
