Fnatic Bench KRIMZ After Longest Active CS Tenure

Fnatic have officially moved Freddy “ KRIMZ ” Johansson to the bench, ending one of the longest player-organization partnerships in Counter-Strike history.

The move comes after a difficult 2026 season for Fnatic . The team began the year close to the top 30 in the Valve rankings but later dropped to 80th in the Valve Regional Standings and failed to qualify for the IEM Cologne Major 2026.

KRIMZ ’s latest uninterrupted run with Fnatic lasted 3,511 days, making it the longest active partnership between a player and a single organization in Counter-Strike. Including his earlier stint with the team before a brief move to GODSENT , his total time with Fnatic reached 4,288 days.

During his years with the organization, KRIMZ became one of the most iconic players in Fnatic history. He helped the team win multiple major tournaments and Major titles, becoming closely associated with the club’s black and orange colors.

Fnatic did not give an official reason for the change, but the move comes as the organization continues shifting toward a Ukrainian core. Nikita “ JACKASMO ” Skyba joined the roster at the end of 2025, followed by former Passion UA players Rodion “ fear ” Smyk and Dmytro “ Jambo ” Semera. Viktor “ Br4tkO ” Kondratets completed the lineup in March.

With KRIMZ now benched, Fnatic ’s active roster features four Ukrainian players.

The organization also released a farewell message to the Swedish veteran, calling him an icon of the game and a symbol of Fnatic .
