New Horizons for device and Magisk
We previously reported in a separate article that device will join the 100 Thieves project, where he will reunite with former Astralis captain Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander, now the head coach of the roster alongside rain as the captain. Thus, the legendary duo from the "golden roster" will meet again.
Meanwhile, Magisk has completed his second stint with Astralis , having returned in September 2025 after stavn left for personal reasons. During this short period, he helped the team reach the playoffs at FISSURE Playground 2, IEM Chengdu, and also competed at the StarLadder Budapest Major.
Astralis Prepares for International Restructuring
The club's statements emphasize that the organization is considering options on the global market and does not intend to limit itself to Danish players:
We are not going to confine ourselves to one region when searching for replacements. The main focus is on quality and the strategic development of the roster in 2026
After the departures of device and Magisk, the roster includes:
- Victor "Staehr" Staehr
- Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen
- Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard
- Casper "ruggah" Due (head coach)
- Martin " stavn " Lund (bench)
With the departure of these two veterans, another chapter in the history of the legendary club, once a four-time major champion, comes to an end. Ahead, Astralis faces the challenge of finding a new identity — and possibly creating a more international project that can return the Danes to the top of the rankings.
