According to the new information, TP plans to hold at least 8 events in 2026 — two in the EU, two in SA, and one in the NA region. Before the final Thunderpick World Championship 2026, a closed qualifier will take place. The final stage of the tournament will feature a prize pool of $1,000,000, with half distributed among the players and the other half among the organizations. Another $125,000 will be distributed among the regional tournaments. The dates of the announced events:
- TWC 2026 EU1: 23 to 31 May 2026
- TWC 2026 NA1: 26 April to 03 May 2026
- TWC 2026 SA1: 24 to 28 June 2026
- TWC 2026 SA2: 08 to 12 July 2026
- TWC 2026 EU2: 25 July to 02 August 2026
- TWC 2026 Closed Qualifier: 09 to 13 September 2026
- TWC 2026: 12 to 19 October 2026
This will mark the fifth consecutive year of TP events. The last TP World Championship 2025 was won by FURIA Esports , who defeated NAVI in the grand final, making a comeback from 0:2 to 3:2 and taking home $500,000.
