Team Spirit has officially confirmed that Boris “magixx” Vorobyov, one of their players, is no longer an active member of the roster. This move marks the end of a nearly six-year period during which Spirit transformed from an outsider on the CIS scene to a global titan.
Boris Vorobiev is still a part of our CS roster, today he has officially become inactive. We are truly grateful to Boris for all those six years he has spent in Team Spirit .

From young talent to pillar of the roster
magixx joined Team Spirit in September 2019 from the Espada team. He was only 16 years old, but the young rifler's potential did not go unnoticed. In his early years, he was not the main star, but a stable element of the system. However, it was thanks to his work in the background that Spirit's leaders — chopper , degster , and later Donk — were able to shine to their full potential.
Over time, he became one of the most reliable players in his role: a versatile rifler who could cover any position, play aggressively or passively, and adapt to the opponent's style.
The road to glory: titles and finals
magixx became an integral part of all of Spirit's major victories. He was on the roster when the team won:
Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 , where they defeated FaZe (2:1) in the final;
IEM Katowice 2024 , where Spirit crushed FaZe (3:0);
BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024 , with a victory over NAVI;
BLAST Bounty Spring 2025, again against Eternal Fire ;
PGL Astana 2025, where they were stronger than Astralis in the final.
In total, Spirit with magixx on board won over $800,000 in prize money, and Boris himself played 1,050 maps at the highest level — an incredible achievement for a player who recently celebrated his 22nd birthday.
Reasons for the changes: what happened?
Although Spirit showed phenomenal results in 2024 –2025, at some point it seemed that the team was looking for an update. With the arrival of young stars such as Donk , as well as rumors of interest in other players, it became clear that Spirit was preparing for a transformation.
Although magixx remained stable, he did not have the same individual highlights as Donk , chopper , or Zont1x . Rumor has it that Spirit is already considering a potential replacement — a young talent from the European region who is better suited to the new philosophy of the lineup — zweih from Nemiga.

What's next for magixx?
