Valve Adds Weekly Missions and New Maps to CS2
Counter-Strike 2 has received a fresh update: Valve developers have introduced the Weekly Missions system, added new custom maps to matchmaking, and redistributed the Casual and Deathmatch groups. The patch notes are published in the official CS2 blog and are already available in the game.
Among the main changes: the return of the legendary map Agency , the addition of new maps Jura and Grail, fresh maps Dogtown and Brewery in Wingman mode, and the launch of the weekly missions system with XP rewards. The update also includes audio fixes and user interface improvements.

Weekly Missions added: Players will now receive one mission each week. Missions can be tracked in the main menu and in the Play section. Completed missions grant bonus experience (XP) but are only active for 7 days.

Fixed a bug where the sound of shooting enemies through smoke was not played

Fixed an issue with the scancode56 key binding (the / symbol on the English layout) — now saved correctly
Lobby invitations from players with Block All Communication enabled in Steam are no longer displayed in the game
The previous CS2 update, released in April, brought a rework of Inferno, the launch of the Fever Case available in the Armory Pass, as well as the introduction of four skin collections: Ascent , Boreal, Radiant, and The Train Collection 2025. Additionally, Valve changed the unique limited drop — now it's a skin for XM1014 instead of Desert Eagle.
