Fluxo and Wildcard Qualify for BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025
Fluxo and Wildcard have secured their spots in the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 by qualifying through South and North America, respectively. Each team claimed the penultimate slot in the Play-In StAgE , leaving one spot per region for the final phase.
Fluxo 's Qualification
Fluxo confidently secured their place in the major. They decisively defeated Bestia and Legacy , winning both matches 2-0, giving away 13 and 16 rounds across two maps.
For arT , this marks a return to the major a year after leaving FURIA Esports , and it will be his first time not playing under that tag. Essentially, Fluxo is a young team, with only arT and zevy having previous major experience, while the others do not.
Wildcard's Qualification
Wildcard had a much more challenging journey than Fluxo . After a confident victory over Marsborne (13:10, 13:2), they faced NRG , where they lost the first map but rallied to close the series 2-1, thus securing their spot in the major.
Wildcard is one of the few teams to maintain the same roster for two consecutive majors, which is a rarity in itself. Another intriguing fact: for the first time in the tournament's history, twin brothers will play at the Austin major on different teams. susp will represent Wildcard, while adamb qualified through the European MRQ with Metizport .
This has only happened once before: at PGL Krakow 2017, twins LUCAS1 and hen1 played together for IMMORTALS . Now, history repeats itself—but on opposite sides of the StAgE .
Each American region has one remaining slot for the major. The four remaining teams in each MRQ will compete for it through single-elimination.
