
Nemiga, BetBoom Team , and Metizport Qualify for BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025
The decisive matches of the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 European Regional Qualifier have concluded, determining who advanced to the major and who exited the tournament.
Teams battled for three coveted spots, and each matchup was a true test of endurance: intense maps, game-turning moments, and rounds decided in the final seconds—all contributed to making the matches thrilling and unpredictable until the very end.
BetBoom Team vs. 9 Pandas
The first match that drew attention was between BetBoom Team and 9 Pandas. BetBoom claimed victory with a 2:1 score. On the first map, Anubis, BetBoom dominated the first half (9-3) and quickly closed the game after switching sides—13-3. However, on Dust II, the momentum shifted to 9 Pandas—they confidently took the first half 10-2 and carried the map to a 13-5 win, leveling the match score. The decisive map was Nuke, where the teams were nearly even in the first half, but BetBoom held a slight advantage—7-5. After the side switch, 9 Pandas took two rounds but then conceded six in a row, allowing BetBoom to close the map 13-7 and the match 2:1.
Nemiga vs. BIG
The next showdown was between Nemiga and BIG , where the competition was less balanced. Nemiga won the match 2:0. On the first map, Inferno, they showcased an excellent T-side attack, finishing the first half 9-3. In the second half, BIG tried to put up a fight, but Nemiga managed to maintain their lead and won 13-11. On the second map, Dust II, the Belarusian team was unstoppable—10-2 in the first half and a confident finish at 13-3.
Metizport vs. Astralis
The final match was a clash between Metizport and Astralis , ending in a 2:1 victory for Metizport . On Inferno, the teams were neck and neck until the side switch (6-6), but in the second half, Metizport took the initiative and secured the map 13-9. On Mirage, Astralis showed their strength—taking 5 consecutive rounds on defense and winning the map 13-7. The decisive map, Ancient , was again tight in the first half (7-5 in favor of Metizport ). After Astralis tied the score, Metizport delivered a powerful 5-round streak, reaching match point and finishing the map 13-9, and with it, the match.
