CS2 Breaks Online Record Again After a Month

Counter-Strike 2 continues to gain momentum: on April 13, 2025, the game set a new peak online record with 1,862,531 players.

This is a significant event for the entire scene, as the number not only surpasses previous achievements but also demonstrates that interest in the game is not waning; on the contrary, it is intensifying. This increase in activity serves as an important signal for both developers and the entire esports community.

Before this, the highest record was 1,824,989 players, set a month ago after the release of the second season of the "Premier" mode. At that time, the increase was about 6,000 players and was seen as a positive but cautious trend. The new record, however, is nearly +38,000 players.
