Fans suggested adding a new game mode in CS2 — overtime only

Users have suggested a new mode for CS2 — Overtime Only. The essence of it is that the match starts directly with overtimes: each team receives $10,000, the game goes for 3 rounds per half, and the winner is the side that wins the overtime. This can lead to unconventional scores, such as 4:2, 7:5, or even 28:24.

The idea by a gamer with the nickname oilygavin on the Reddit portal received positive feedback among players. Many believe that this mode will be a good alternative to the casual 10v10 and something in between Retake and a regular competitive 5v5 match. One user, with the nickname AirplaneReference, even suggested implementing this mode through console commands to remove restrictions on the number of overtimes: mp_maxrounds 6, mp_startmoney 10000, mp_overtime_enable 1, mp_overtime_limit 0, mp_overtime_maxrounds 6, mp_overtime_startmoney 10000. It is currently unknown if anyone has tested this method.

Judging by the user reactions, the CS2 community is clearly interested in expanding the list of official modes. Currently, the shooter from Valve offers the following game modes: Competitive, Premier, Casual, Wingman, Deathmatch, Arms Race, and Demolition.
