Gen.G sign Dambi and MaKo as four-player Core for 2027 is revealed
Gen.G have announced Dambi and MaKo as additions to their 2027 VALORANT roster, alongside returning players t3xture and Karon .
The reveal took place through a livestream on t3xture ’s Soop channel. The fifth player remains under evaluation.
Dambi arrives after Masters-winning season
Dambi joins from Nongshim RedForce , where he helped win Masters Santiago and received the tournament’s MVP award.
Known primarily for his Neon play, he also expanded his duelist options to include Raze and Waylay during the season.
MaKo arrives after a lengthy spell within the Vision Strikers and DRX system, which he joined in 2021. His move brings an experienced controller to Gen.G’s rebuilding lineup.
Roles and leadership remain to BE settled
The announced Core creates several role overlaps. t3xture and Dambi are established duelists, while MaKo and Karon have both produced their strongest performances on controllers.
Gen.G have not announced who will lead The Team in-game or how those responsibilities will BE distributed.
t3xture said the fifth player is being trialed and will BE revealed later.
The changes follow a difficult 2026 campaign in which Gen.G failed to reach an international event, with 5th–6th at Pacific Stage 2 their Best regional finish.
